9006 SMD lighting has assembled a wiring harness that reduces the voltage by an average of 2 volt A common issue that we have is that led headlights are designed to work on a normal voltage of 12 volts. Most vehicles with a large engine size 3 Litter engine will have an average voltage of 13.5-14.2 volts and sometimes higher if it has alternator issues. This causes the led after-market headlights to overheat and shorten the expected life of the bulb significantly. To resolve this issue SMD lighting has assembled a wiring harness that reduces the voltage by an average of 2 volts, keeping the led at lower voltage and reducing the overheating.
